uAvionix is hard at work on completing the STC/PMA certification and installation approvals for the AV-30. These efforts have been enhanced by the combined talents of the original AV-30 team and uAvionix's engineering and manufacturing expertise. We are happy to report a majority of the hurdles are behind us, and estimate the project is 90-95%
complete. All required testing has been successfully completed and is nearing final FAA submission. At this time, as we work to create a complete Approved Model List, we welcome your feedback on the aircraft you want to see added. Recommend an aircraft here

Legacy Look, Modern Features
AV-30 brings integratedsolid-state reliability to your panel. Vacuum instruments add weight, unnecessary complexity and recurring maintenance expense. AV-30 preserves the classic "round dial" look and eliminates the need for reorganizing or slicing and dicing your panel. A single 3" round gauge provides AIor DGcapability along with 12 additional safety and performance features.
Probeless Angle of Attack
The AV-30 progressively alerts you visually and aurally as you approach critical Angle of Attack. Unlike other AoA systems, a wing-mounted probe is not required, keeping the installation simple and cost-effective.
Autopilot Integration
Coming in late 2020, the APA-MINI Autopilot Adapter will interface heading bug to legacy STEC autopilots. Future autopilot adaptations are planned.
Transponder Control
More than just a flight instrument, the AV-30 offers transponder control functionality for the recently introduced tailBeaconX. Intuitive control is matched with the installation simplicity of one less static pressure
connection to an altitude encoder. This feature is immediately available on the experimental AV-30-E and will be certified for use with the soon to be TSO’d tailBeaconX.
